Lucy (contemplating the syrup bottle): Mrs. Butterworth...hmm...where's Mr. Butterworth?
Me: I don't know...working, maybe.
Lucy: Or maybe she's single--oh wait, no, because she's MRS. Butterworth!
In other news, Sadie lost her first tooth today. Exciting times. She very kindly left her tooth on the nightstand, instead of under her pillow. "I want to make it simpler for the tooth fairy, Mom."
"The tooth fairy thanks you, sweetie."
As for Amy, she got her hair cut today. Then she asked if she could wear it straight. The hairstylist blow dried for her. So now my curly-headed girl is walking around with straight hair, and she LOVES it.

As far as the syrup bottle convo... that made me chuckle. She is so literal, like a little man I know.
