Kindergarten Graduation

Yesterday was a big day for Amy!  After working hard all year in Kindergarten, the teachers had a small graduation ceremony to recognize the children in their classes.  The children sang a song they had learned, we watched a slideshow of pictures from the year, and then the kids received their "diplomas".  It was really cute how serious all of the kids were about it.

Amy has had an amazing year.  She went to Kindergarten a year early, and has finished with flying colors!  She is a super reader, is quick at math, and has made many, many friends.  The end of Kindergarten is so bittersweet.  She has learned so much, and loves her teacher, whose name is Aimee!  Mrs. Kamla (her teacher) told me yesterday that my Amy is the first Amy she has ever had in 17 years of teaching.  When Mrs. Kamla's mom comes in to volunteer and she calls for my Amy, the teacher thinks her mom is calling her instead!  I'm sure she'll remember darling Amy forever.

Here are some pictures of Amy from yesterday.
