We've had an incredibly exciting couple of weeks here! The first big change for us is David's new job. He is just finishing up his second week with this company, and he's really enjoying what he's doing and he's learning A LOT. The company sells copiers and printers and also maintains and repairs them. The latter is what David is/will be doing. He's being trained specifically to work on printers, and in February, he'll begin training on how to repair mailing machines like this one. Once he's trained and ready, he'll be going out to companies and fixing their equipment at their places of business.
So every morning, David leaves just before 7 AM and takes our little car north about 20 miles or so, and then gets home between 6 and 6:30 in the evening. So how do I get the girls to school and run errands, you ask? Well, not very quickly or easily without a car of my own. Last Saturday, David and I headed out to find another vehicle. Here's what we ended up with:
It's a great car for us, and we feel like we got a good deal on it. It was owned by an older couple, so the interior and exterior are in perfect condition, it has low mileage, and seems to have been regularly maintained.
We are incredibly lucky, and incredibly grateful to have the blessing of a new job, as well as the blessing of another car.
More soon.

YAY and Congrats! That is awesome for you guys!
We absolutely love our van, with 3 in carseats we need the room and this way you can seperate kiddos too.
How exciting for you! Congrats again!
That's awesome! So happy for you on both counts!
I have to repair printers as part of my job, and its not a big part of it but I dislike it. Printers are so finicky and each model (within each brand) have their own quirks and tricks.
I feel for him :)
